Hendrix vs. Presley

 Jimi Hendrix’s new album of unreleased jams “Valleys of Neptune” debuted yesterday at #4 on the Billboard top 200. The ablum puts Hendrix back into the top 5 almost 40 years after his death at age 27.  Back in 2003, Elvis’ album “Elvis:2nd to None” debuted at #3 26 years after his death…Guess 2nd isn’t so bad right? Congrats and R.I.P. to Mr. Hendrix…here is “Bleeding Heart” from “Valleys of Neptune” available in stores and on Itunes now.

 

B.O.B. – The Rain

This is my favorite track from his last mixtape, the highly favorable May 25th…Which was titled to promote the date of his ablum The Adventures of B.O.B….but due to the success of the mixtape the new release date is now April 27th…It’s unfortunate that B.O.B. gets compared to Andre 3000 so often, but if I were him I would embrace it and keep standing out cuz this guy truly is talented with his own style…enjoy

First Day Of Spring

Today is the first day of spring, and to me that means

3. Buzz My Head
4. Indie Music

There isn’t much like driving around in the spring to a good

mix of indie (indie rock, indie hip hop or whatever else) music.

So, inspired by the weather, I have decided to start, perhaps

a series of, a post of some music I would cruise to today.

This isn’t like my “indie or spring mix 2010”

but a few of somewhat random songs I am into at the moment.
