A million exclamation points cannot describe how excited I am about these re-releasing. I had the black version in middle school and i wore those to Death. If your unaware, these were the “Superfreak Jumpman” kicks JB made for Randy Moss back in the day when he was jumping over everyone playing for Minnesota (Ahh the good ol days). Everything is basically the same except there is no more 84 stitched in (Since Moss is no longer on the Jordan Team). Im hearing these will be out before Months end so Be Ready

 My homeboy Dan from highschool just told me about this guy Derek Vincent Smith. He’s a producer who along with his drummer pal  Cory Eberhard put on high energy shows as the collective known as Pretty Lights. The sounds are amazing and great to vibe to, my personal favorite is the track “Finally Moving”…check out their website and youll understand why they call themselves Pretty Lights.

What is One Day Without Shoes?

One Day Without Shoes is an “everyone is invited” world wide event on April 8, 2010.

It is “an effort to bring attention to the impact a simple pair of shoes can bring to a child’s life.

Tom [Toms Shoes] asks people to go the day, part of the day, or even just a few minutes,

barefoot, to experience a life without shoes first-hand, and to help spread awareness.”

The Cause:

“Through everyday encounters with domestic poverty, we are reminded to

appreciate having food and shelter, but most of us all but forget about our feet.

Food, shelter, AND shoes facilitate life’s fundamentals. Imagine a life without shoes;

constantly aware of the ground in front of you, suffering regular cuts and scrapes,

tending to infection after each walk, and enduring not only terrain, but heat and cold.

The problem is large, but the solution is simple. Wearing shoes and practicing basic hygiene

can prevent both infection and disease due to unsafe roads and contaminated soil.

By imagining a life barefoot, we can all contribute to the awareness of these conditions.

On April 8th, communities, campuses, organizations, and individuals are banding

together to walk barefoot for One Day Without Shoes.

New Maestro Knows in Hawaii

You all know how much I like Levi Maestro and his work right?

Well Levi Maestro has his show called “Maestro Knows” and usually he posts

an episode of his show on his website every tuesday but the last two

episodes have come over a spand of months!  He has been busy!! The last episode

was Levi hanging out with Bun B.  This episode he just released today is about Levi’s

trip to Hawaii.  Today has been a really good day as far as the blog is concerned.

Mos Def  and Ski Beatz dropped Taxi and Levi put out this new episode! Ahh, good day.
